Established and accredited by the Holy See as one of its few Pontifical educational institutions worldwide, recognized by the State of Austria, recommended in the Newman Guide, and listed in the Catholic Identity College Guide.

How we study
Around one table, a small group works through the text together: questioning, reflecting, debating, until the truth of the matter is reached. You are not fed conclusions; you reach them.
The seminar method
The sacred liturgy, adoration, and common prayer sustain the day. We aspire to integrate the intellectual and spiritual life, so that what is studied in the classroom is encountered in the chapel.
Liturgical life The Roman and Byzantine Liturgical Rites live here side by side, and students of both traditions pray, study, and celebrate as one community. The unity of the East and West is not a theory at ITI but an aspect of its daily life.
Liturgical life
Students, families, and professors share one campus and one common life. Here you are known by name, carried in prayer, and bound in authentic friendship: friendships that begin around the seminar table and which last a lifetime.
Campus life
Students come from Europe, America, and from all over the world to a village south of Vienna. What unites them is not from where they come, but the God to whom they are turned, “one faith and one hope” (Eph. 4).
One community An English-speaking university in the heart of Catholic Europe: Vienna 30 minutes away, Rome and the ancient shrines of Christendom within close proximity, at a fraction of the cost of the private universities of the United States.
