The short version
ITI receives no state funding. Every accepted student automatically receives the Standard ITI Scholarship, which reduces tuition fees. The figures below outline tuition and living costs. If finances are a concern, please contact us before deciding whether to apply.

The approximate 4 700 € budget covers food and personal items, insurance, a visa if required, and initial expenses. These are itemized below, not additional to this estimate. Refundable deposits are separate.
Regular tuition is 25 000 €; the Standard ITI Scholarship brings it to 12 000 € per academic year for every accepted student (Studium Generale: 12 500 €).

Financial aid
Every accepted student receives it automatically. It reduces annual tuition from 25 000 € to 12 000 €.
Awarded each year for European and STL 1 / STB 4 students, reducing tuition by a further 6 000 to 11 000 €.
When both spouses study at ITI and the first pays the full 12 000 €, the second may receive a 50 percent tuition reduction.
In particular cases, ITI offers room stipends tied to service on campus.
US students can use Sallie Mae private loans. US federal loans are not available for 2026–2027.

All students contribute two hours of service each week for the upkeep of chapel, living areas, library, and common spaces. It is part of the shared life of the university, and part of what keeps ITI affordable.

Paying by bank transfer in euros
Transfer tuition and fees directly to ITI’s account. Always give your full name and program as the reference.
Paying from abroad or converting another currency
These services offer international payments and currency conversion. Compare the quoted exchange rate, fees, and delivery time before confirming your payment.
