What makes ITI special
ITI is not a private project. Founded by Pope St John Paul II, it stands in the heart of the Catholic Church: faithful to her teaching, sent with her mission, alive with her tradition.
Our history
Scripture, the Fathers, Augustine, Aquinas: at ITI you meet the great texts of the faith themselves, in their own words, not in summaries written about them.
How we study Around one table, a small group works through the text together: questioning, debating, digging until the matter opens up. You do not listen to conclusions; you reach them.
The seminar method Daily liturgy, adoration, and common prayer carry the whole day. What is studied at the desk is received on your knees at the altar: theology becomes encounter, not just knowledge.
Liturgical life Roman Mass and Byzantine Divine Liturgy live side by side here, and students of both traditions pray, study, and celebrate as one community. The unity of East and West is not a theory at ITI: it is daily life.
