Community feast at long tables on campus

Your Own Visit

Sit in on a class. Stay for dinner.

You are welcome at any time during the academic year; the best visits happen while classes are running, so you can sit in on a seminar, meet students over lunch, and pray with the community. Write to the admissions office and they will put a visit together with you.

A few guest rooms are available on campus, the town of Trumau has a bed and breakfast, and there are further accommodations in nearby towns.

Open House Week 2026

Five days inside the life of the ITI.

1 to 5 June 2026

Live as a student, for a week.

Arrive on Sunday, 31 May, and stay through Saturday, 6 June. You attend classes with current students, meet the program directors and the chaplain, and share the daily rhythm of Roman and Byzantine liturgies, meals, and evenings with students.

The week also takes you beyond Trumau: a campus tour, a visit to Heiligenkreuz Abbey, and sightseeing in Vienna. Open to prospective students of any program, alone or with family.
